Finance/Client Services Manager

After six months in a purely accounting function elsewhere, Mika is back in her old saddle–but now riding two horses: Finance and Client Services.

“I remember coming home from my 8th Grade career fair and telling my dad I wanted to go into Advertising.  He said, ‘Are you crazy?  I’m not paying good money for you to work in advertising, get a real education!!’  So I became a CPA.”

Her first job was with Intergroup, when it was the largest HMO in Arizona. She then moved to a medical imaging software company, a laser research and development company and to a start-up health insurance company. Prior to moving to Hawai'i, this former Arizona CPA worked for Texas Instruments.

Mika is excited about her return to the agency in an expanded role where she will oversee Finance but devote the bulk of her time to client services.  “I’m finally at a happy place in my career.  I get to work with Media Plans and New Creative Ad Campaigns for wonderful clients…and Dad’s happy that I can still do his taxes.”
