Our unflappable graphic designer Shawn is responsible for creating unique visual worlds for a challenging range of clients, from universities to medical labs to electrical engineering companies.

Shawn was born in Honolulu and grew up on the Big Island. He studied computer science for a while, until he realized his true interest in design. He moved back to Honolulu in 2002 to attend UH Manoa, working as a graphic artist for Campus Center Marketing and Graphics.

Shawn graduated in 2005 with a degree in Graphic Design (“My day of victory!” he says), and joined the Loomis-ISC team in 2006.

Meanwhile, Shawn enjoys music, photography, printmaking, big cities, the Japanese language…but, as he puts it, “my true passion is anything design-related—graphic design, fashion, architecture, media.” Shawn’s ambition is to move to L.A. or New York and become an art director for a high-fashion magazine like Vogue, Rolling Stone, GQ, or W.
