Dawn Morais Webster

Dawn has held communications management positions at Esso and IBM in Malaysia and Hong Kong with responsibility for building functional expertise and training people as well as implementing publicity and promotion programs. She was Creative Director and subsequently co-founded the integrated services division of one of Malaysia’s leading PR and advertising agencies.
Dawn completed a Ph.D. in English at the University of Hawai‘i in 2008. Her dissertation focused on issues of race, nation and identity as reflected in life-writing in Malaysia. She graduated with a First Class Honors degree in English from the University of Malaya before earning a Master’s in American Literature at UCLA.
She has led the agency through its reinvention of itself as a team that provides communications counsel and services that go well beyond the reach of traditional advertising.
She serves on the Board of Advisors to the Hogan Entrepreneurial Program at Chaminade University.
