Zubin Menon

Associate Copywriter

Learning how to keep his red 19 year old Nissan 300ZX running --most of the time -- has improved Zubin’s performance as a copywriter. “I like to think I understand what it means to keep something finely tuned and purring. I know my job is to do with words what I try to do under the hood."

An Asian History graduate of the University of British Columbia, Zubin began school in Hong Kong, continued in Malaysia and finished in Singapore. At Sacred Hearts Academy in Honolulu, he taught Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Asian Studies and Drama. Zubin wrote copy in between working on papers and rehearsing presentations for the MBA he just completed in May 2009 at the University of Hawai‘i’s Shidler College of Business. He spent the summer of 2008 as an Island Fellow with the Department of the Interior, traveling to the Marshall Islands and spending eight weeks in D.C., along with seven other Fellows selected from graduate schools throughout the nation. What Zubin learns in one world enriches what he does in the other.
